TO EMBED OR NOT TO EMBED - THAT IS THE QUESTION [UPDATED] The staff at Runboard have decided to come up with a more complexed way to embed youtube clips on the board replacing the much more easier method which lets face it was far too simple and in much need of changing =^ :rley:
Actually its not that complexed really just lacks a bit..........well most..............ok all the relative info on what the hell your meant to do and why is there now a dirty great box on my screen after clicking the 'Embed Youtuibe' tab :nailbite:
WELL DONT PANIC :hypno: :nailbite:......ITS PERFECTLY NORM.... :drink:
It has two functions, You can either add the video link straight in if you have it of course,......OR use the other new feature which actually allows you to search for a youtube clip without going over to youtube itself, :jump so it is quiet handy :drink: .........they just forget to make it idiot friendly to coin a phrase so that the rest of us who are less technical minded would understand what its for and how to use it. =^
Thanks to the staff at runboard its now possible to embed youtube clips on to a post and watch them here without having to leave the board and get re-directed to the youtube site
THIS IS HOW TO DO IT
Just click the 'embed youtube' link when making a post then you may get a message asking for permission to allow scripted windows, if so then click 'allow permission' option, then click 'embed youtbe' link again and a box will appear asking for the link ID to be added.
All you have to do is insert the end part of the youtube link
so for example if this was the clip you wanted to post
Re: HOW TO EMBED YOUTUBE CLIPS ON A POST If a woman really knows how to fight, it could be dangerous to embed her but it is probably worth it. Violence in the streets is a problem. Bring violence back to the bedroom, where it belongs.
