Uploading from DVD/Thanx

A few people have asked the question of how to encode DVD files to the web. The following link is, hopefully, to the imToo dvs ripper software which is a full working copy on the basis that you can only encode upto 5 mins of the source material - which is plenty for the purposes of this board. The secend link is to the relevant web page if the download doesn't work correctly. I know nothing about codecs, little about resolution and file formats although I'm sure there are people who use this board that do and will be willing to help.

I would like to say thank you to Oshima for hosting, and to everybody that contributes to this board - there appears to be a real community here willing to share material/experiences and engage in like minded discussion. I would also like to thank all those people who have published and maintained websites over the years, most people do not appreciate how much time and effort this takes. You know who you are - and long may your work continue, thank you again.

5;-)/.

Thanks, I'll give this a try. The link you give wants you to buy a membership to get the program, fortunately sourceforge has a free link to download.

I know about the five-minute maximum clip length for the trial version.

Does the trial version expire at some point (will it stop working altogether after a certain length of time and prompt you to either buy the full version or remove the program)?

Thanks.
